[Case Study] Company C (Packaging Materials, Insulation Materials, Construction Materials)
From now on, we will consider reducing the number of personnel for inventory work! Introduction of cases where the efficiency of warehouse inventory operations has been improved.
We would like to introduce a case study of our proposed approach to problem-solving. Company C was experiencing discrepancies in inventory counts during their stocktaking operations, which occurred 3 to 4 times a year, resulting in time-consuming processes. [Challenge] During stocktaking operations 3 to 4 times a year, discrepancies in counts occurred each time, leading to time-consuming work. [Approach] We provided guidance for two months on establishing business workflows, as well as on thoroughly managing Company C's inbound and outbound data and daily numerical management within the warehouse management company. [Results] <Number of workers: 4-5, Annual stocktaking: 3-4 times> Discrepancy in counts per stocktake: 10-20 items → 0 items Time taken for each stocktake: 2-3 hours → reduced to 1 hour → Improvements were achieved without the introduction of a new system, solely through thorough management. *For more details, please refer to our company brochure PDF or feel free to contact us.
